Training & Capacity Building is one of the key areas under NRLM. WBSRLM has concentrated on development of Community Cadres and Community Trainers at different levels to implement the training & capacity building program across the thematic areas. A Comprehensive Capacity Building and Training plan is operational for SHG members and its federations on mobilization, institution building, social inclusion, maintenance of books of accounts, financial inclusion, micro-investment plan preparation, bank linkage, farm and non-farm livelihoods, associated stakeholders etc. through various community based trainers and cadres teams developed within the program. In the state, Sangha Samabays are being incentivized to support WBSRLM and this is being done through a total number of 9949 Community Service Providers (CSP-IB-3191, CSP-FM-2645, CSP-BL -3213) and 2426 CLF Coordinators who are working in the field. Community Managed Training Centres (CMTC) as Centre of Excellence has also being opertionalised. 218 numbers of State level Master Trainer (SMT), 826 number of District Level Trainers (DRP), 18456 number of Block Level Master Trainers (BRP), community spearhead teams were identified, trained in different thematic areas and deployed at different level. WBSRLM also trained a cadre of 1115 women as Community Auditors with support from Institute of Cost Accountants of India for the support in terms of maintaining books and records of SHG federations. Different types of Training IEC materials, modules, audio, video aids were already established for supporting these training & capacity building programs.
